NEET 2020 To Be Held on 26th July 2020

The Ministry of Human Resource and Development has today (05/05/2020) declared the fresh dates for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020. As per the announcement the NEET 2020 will be held on July 26, 2020.

The Union HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced the date in an interaction with the students that the NEET examination will be conducted on July 26. 

Earlier, the NEET examination is scheduled in May, however, to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the country, the National Testing Agency or NTA, the officiating national body working under the Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry had postponed the exam in March last week.

Approximately more than 15 lakh students across the country have registered for NEET this year, which is the gateway to medical colleges in India.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) had also given students an option to change their opted centres for the the test as students have moved to different places since the lockdown.
