NIOS D.El.Ed Course is Now Valid for Teacher Recruitment: HRD Minister, Check Official Order

National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) will now allow D.El.Ed courses by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) or and any other NCTE recognized institution for teacher appointment purposes.

The same was announced today [20/05/2020] by Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and he tweeted the official order in this regard.

माननीय पटना उच्च न्यायालय ने NIOS और किसी अन्य NCTE मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान के माध्यम से किए गए D.El.Ed पाठ्यक्रम के बीच रोजगार के उद्देश्यों के लिए समकक्षता बनाए रखने हेतु जो निर्णय दिया, न्यायालय के निर्णय का सम्मान करते हुए NCTE ने इस फैसले को स्वीकार कर लिया है। pic.twitter.com/lgad61hNyL

He tweeted, “Patna High Court has approved D.El.Ed courses by NIOS and any other NCTE recognized institute, keeping in view the employment purpose. NCTE has accepted the high court’s order.”
