What is Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship (MAITS) 2018?

Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship (MAITS) 2018 invites applications from class 10/12 passed students who have secured admission in a government or other recognised Polytechnic Institute for Diploma Courses in India. This scholarship aims to empower students belonging to the underprivileged section of the society.

Who is offering this scholarship ?

K. C. Mahindra Education Trust is offering this scholarship to the students belonging to lower income group families. 

Who can apply for this scholarship ?

  • The applicant must have passed class 10/12 or equivalent.
  • The applicant must have secured admission into a government or other recognised polytechnic institute for diploma courses in India.
  • The applicant seeking admission for the 1st year of diploma studies in the year 2018 are only eligible to apply.
Note: Students of 2nd and 3rd year are not eligible to apply.

Step-3: Attach all the necessary documents.
Step-4: Now, send the completed application form along with the enclosures to the nearest centre mentioned in the form.

What are the benefits ?

Each selected student will receive the scholarship of INR 10,000 per annum for a maximum of three years.

Terms and Conditions

  • Applicants who have not secured admission in diploma course will not be called for the final interview. So, they must submit the copy of their admission letter as soon as they secure admission.
  • A student having his/her bank account can only apply for this scholarship. 

What are the documents required for the Mahindra All India Talent Scholarship (MAITS) 2018 ?

  • Testimonial/Recommendation letter from either teacher or employer under whom the applicant has studied or worked
  • A short statement stating the applicant's general aptitude and interest, the type of vocation she/he would like to pursue and her/his ambitions and aspirations in life
  • An attested copy of certificate of date of birth as recorded in the school certificate
  • Attested copies of mark sheets and certificates 
  • Attested copy of letter from institution where the applicant has secured admission 
  • Copy of family income certificate
  • Copy of 1st page of passbook or canceled cheque (self-attested)
  • Copy of aadhaar card
