A) Assistant Professor, History (One Post) reserved for ST(H).
B) Assistant Professor, Assamese, (One Post) reserved for OBC/MOBC.
C) Assistant Professor, Geography (One Post) reserved for OBC/MOBC.
D) Assistant Professor, Assamese (One Post) reserved for SC.
E) Assistant Professor, Education (One Post) reserved for ST (P).

Educational Qualification: The candidates must have at least 55% marks at the Master Degree Level (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in concerned subject and must have cleared the NET/ SLET/ SET. The candidates having Ph. D degree in accordance with the UGC (minimum standard and procedure for award of Ph. D degree) regulations, 2009 are exempted from the requirement of the condition of NET /SLET/SET.

Age: Candidates should not be more than 38 (Thirty Eight) years of age on 01/01/2019 (relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ ST/PWD and 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates).

* In service candidates have to apply through proper channel with NOC from the appointing
authority/employer.
* The candidates Must be permanent resident of Assam and should know the local language.
